The Global Waqf Conference (GWC) brings together academics, shariah scholars, policymakers and institutional trustees to examine how waqf — the Islamic endowment tradition — can be structured, governed and scaled to meet contemporary development needs.
The 14th edition convenes across Tashkent and Samarkand, reflecting the growing role of Central Asia in the revival of Islamic social finance, and brings a programme of keynotes, parallel paper sessions, workshops, and the signing of collaboration agreements between partner institutions.
